What will I find in a learning journey?

Once logged in, you'll land on the homepage. Here, you'll see all the course paths you've been added to as a participant. A course path is a collection of all the learning materials you'll encounter in a course. In the course path overview, you can see (a selection of) the following components:

Course Modules: As a learner, you'll navigate through content like videos, texts, and audio recordings in these lesson modules and complete assignments.

Videos: Sometimes, the creator of a course may opt to offer an introductory video before you proceed to a lesson module.

Download: You might also encounter downloadable files, such as a PDF with additional information or a document for completion.

Assignment: Within the course path, you may also need to submit something.

Location: Is a part of your course offline? The administrator might choose to share the location for offline lessons with you in the course path.

Link: The administrator also has the option to share a link with you, for instance, to a webinar or Zoom session.

Certificate: Depending on the type of course you're taking, you may receive a certificate upon completion. You can also find this in the course path overview. The certificate may be locked until you successfully finish the e-learning (as seen below), or it may be hidden until you've completed everything.

What to do if you can't open a component?

You might find that you can't click on an item. This means the item isn't yet available to you because a certain condition hasn't been met. Perhaps you need to complete a lesson module first before you can proceed. It could also be that something becomes available on a specific date or after a certain number of weeks from the start of the course.

Shared Files

Within the course path, you'll also find the 'Shared Files' tab. Consider this as a sort of Dropbox for the course path. All trainers and participants can upload files here that are visible to everyone. If the course administrator has opted to disable file sharing, this tab won't be visible.
