Add a point system to your academy

Adding Study Load Points (SBU) to Portfolio Items in Pluvo

It is possible to assign Study Load Points (SBU) to portfolio items in Pluvo. This can be done, for example, for certificates or for personal portfolio items added by participants. This provides both the trainer and the participant with a quick overview of the progress of participants.

How to Set Up the Points System?

From the main screen of your academy, click on the gear icon in the header to access the settings of your academy.

Academy Settings

Next, click on 'More Settings.' Here you will find the option to add a points system and assign a name to your points system. It is possible to set up more than one points system per academy.

Setting up the Points System for Certificates

A New Certificate

You can add new certificates directly to the learning path. Want to know more about adding modules to your learning path? Check out this helpdesk article: Creating a Learning Path.

When adding a module and choosing the 'certificate' option, you have the choice to create a new certificate. When creating a certificate, you can assign the number of points under '_Points for Certificate_' and select one of the points systems set up in the academy under '_Points System_'.

An Existing Certificate

From the main screen of your academy, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner to access academy management. Select 'Settings' and then 'Certificates.' This will take you to the overview of existing certificates.

When selecting the certificate you want to modify in the overview, you can assign the number of points under '_Points for Certificate_' and select one of the points systems set up in the academy under '_Points System_'.

Note: It is not possible to retroactively assign points to already issued certificates. Points can only be added to certificates issued after this change.
