Opening another learning journey after completing a course/module

By using Zapier, you can open another learning path after completing a course module or submitting a file.

You can use the Webhook trigger in two ways:

With an assignment: Place a trigger alongside an assignment in the module group, and the trigger will fire each time someone uploads a file. Super handy if you want to collect files not only in Pluvo but also keep them outside Pluvo.
When the conditions of the module group are met: When the condition opens the module group, the trigger will be sent. This function is excellent, for example, if you want to remove a user from the learning path after completing the path.

Note: This condition-trigger goes off once per user per trigger. If you want this trigger to go off again for a user, you need to save the module group in management again. This will resend all completed triggers.

Adding a Trigger to Pluvo

You add a trigger to a module group and copy the trigger's reference name for use in Zapier.

Choose the Webhook module from the list of modules.

Copy the reference and click save.

Set a condition on the module group

By setting a condition on the module group, the Zapier trigger will be sent when this condition is met by the participant.

In this case, we want to add someone to a new learning path when another learning path is completed. You have to determine when this happens: for example, when the last lesson module is completed or when a file is submitted.

In this scenario, we assume the learning path is completed when a lesson module is finished. We set it up in the conditions accordingly.

Now everything is set up in the module, and the Zapier module will be triggered when a participant completes this lesson module.

Next, let's go to Zapier to indicate what we want to happen with the trigger.

Creating a Zap trigger in Zapier

Create a new zap and search for the Pluvo app with the trigger Module Group Unlocked
Under 'Find data,' you'll see data from Pluvo that you can use in the following steps.

Add the helper app 'filter' using the plus sign below. This will allow you to filter the zap to proceed only if the trigger has a certain reference. Use the reference you copied from Pluvo.

Add user to learning path

After finding the user, you need to add the user to your e-learning path.

Click the plus sign under the Zap you just created.
Select Pluvo again under 'choose app.'
Under Choose action event, select 'add user to e-learning'
Again, select the correct Pluvo account. Click continue.

Under User Reference, select your user reference.
Under e-learning reference, select the e-learning path to which you want to add the user.
Under send invite, choose whether you want your participant to receive an invitation to the learning path in their mailbox. True means yes, false means no.
Click test & review to see if the app is properly connected.

Almost done!

All you need to do now is to turn on the Zap and test if it works.

Tip: Want to add someone to multiple groups right away? Then use 'add user to group' instead of 'add user to e-learning.' Then attach this group to the learning paths. This way, someone will be added to all these learning paths immediately after completion.
